INSTITUTIONAL MEMBERSHIP

GSAEC membership is open to academic institutions, individuals and students who constitute a community united in the establishment and promotion of a common knowledge base for executive and organization coaching. This includes institutions and individuals who are conducting and disseminating research to expand this knowledge base and defining curricula standards for graduate-level education in coaching. GSAEC also collaborates with, and exchanges knowledge and experience with, similar academic standard-setting organizations for executive and organizational coaching around the globe.

ELEGIBILITY

  1. Are you an accredited university, college, graduate school and/or department of such an institution?
  2. Does your institution offer a) courses or programs that add executive, organizational, or leadership coaching skills or principles to students’ existing professional education; OR b) courses or programs intended to educate professional executive, organizational, or leadership coaches; OR c) courses or programs that utilize executive, organizational, or leadership coaching in higher education?
  3. Does your institution support the GSAEC mission, vision and values?

If you answered YES to all three questions above, your institution may be eligible for GSAEC Institutional Membership!


BENEFITS

  • Member Institutions may assign up to ten (10) faculty/staff/etc. as their representatives, all of whom receive full benefits of GSAEC Individual Membership.
  • Representatives may be nominated for offices and positions on GSAEC’s Board of Directors, and as committee chairs.
  • May cast one vote (per institution) at all Board of Directors meetings and in elections and other GSAEC decisions. Voting rights are held by a designated Primary and Alternate Voting Representative.
  • All current students of Member Institutions may join GSAEC as Student Members free of charge, receiving all benefits of Student Membership.
  • Institution listed and linked to on GSAEC website and in other publications.
  • Gain member-exclusive access to resources, relevant events and opportunities, including reduced fees for GSAEC events and programs
  • Collaborate and share ideas about best practices in executive, team, organizational and leadership coaching
  • Help legitimize coaching within the institution and with other academics
  • Develop and establish academic standards for coach education
  • Co-create and manage the future of graduate-level coaching
  • Develop and enjoy the synergistic impact of sharing resources among institutions
  • Engage in research regarding the development of coaches, the practice of coaching, and the discipline of the field of coaching studies
  • Make linkages to thought-leaders and groundbreaking programs throughout the world
