Presentation Topic & Description
Our first Fall Campfire, October 28, 2021 will be moderated by Natalie Cunningham, in a conversation with Julia Kukard and Ntyatyambo Ntloko. We will continue the conversation we began in the Bonfire, From Social Listening to Inner Freedom: Leading with ME .
Speaker Ntyatyambo Ntloko is a dynamic Johannesburg-based coach and facilitator who has a keen focus on women in leadership, diversity and inclusion and unconscious bias. She works individually with clients, one to one as well as with groups.
For the first eight years of her career, Ntyatyambo worked in a number of customer-facing management and leadership roles for Proctor & Gamble in South Africa in its beauty division.
In 2012, Ntyatyambo co-founded the Mbewu Movement, a forum created by a group of young, ambitious African women who share common interests and are like-minded in light of their passions and vision for the African continent.
Ntyatyambo has a BBusSci in Economics from the University of Cape Town and is a Aephoria AIM Practitioner. She has qualified as a complete skilled negotiator with the GAP negotiation partnership and is a Trained GROW coach.
She’s a film lover at heart, one of her all-time favourite’s being 13th by Ava Duvernay. She’s also a foodie, enjoying both the watching and eating and looking forward to dining in an American Southern restaurant one day, she’s sure it will remind her of her granny’s cooking.
Speaker Julia Kukard is a founding partner of Aephoria Partners, and a coach, leadership, management and inclusion professional with 31 years of one on one, facilitation and consulting experience. Her area of specialization is in leadership maturity, in particular how to support the development and maturation of leaders.
Her qualifications include a BA Hons MA MBA and she has just submitted her Doctorate in Existential Psychotherapy at Middlesex University. This research explores leadership stuckness using the work of Existential Philosophers including the work of Steve Biko.
Julia trains coaches in the use of the Aephoria Identity Maturation Framework (IMf), a leadership maturity framework integrating constructive development theory and existential philosophy in particular the work of Steve Biko.
During the past nine years, Julia has run the Advanced Leadership elective on the University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business MBA. As part of this role, Julia has co-written a book on this with Dean Kai Peters from Ashridge University and Professor Kurt April from the GSB.Julia likes reading, drinking red wine and running (in that order). Her favourite poets are Rumi and Buchowski.
Moderator Dr. Natalie Cunningham is co-leading the Master of Leadership for Development at the University of Manchester’s Global Development Institute. She was instrumental in developing one of the first masters in coaching. As Director of The Leadership Development Centre, Wits Business School, University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa, she designed certificates in coaching supervision and business executive coaching. She also led a team that customized Leadership Development Solutions for private and public sector organisations. Natalie has a PhD in Leadership Coaching.
Natalie consults in the field of leadership, organisational development and coaching across diverse countries and continents. She has an extensive background coaching global, C-Suite leaders across many industries including financial services, healthcare, insurance, Information technology, retail, mining, airline, construction, engineering, media, and the development sector. Her global clients have been based in Dubai, Namibia, UK, Thailand, China, South Africa, Botswana, India, Turkey, and Russia.
Natalie designs leadership solutions for organisations and brings extensive experience in group coaching and its positive impact on organizational culture to her work. She works with executive teams and likes the systemic nature of working across individuals, teams, groups, and the organisation. Natalie uses serious gaming as part of developing team and leadership competencies. Her passion is to see sustainable and impactful meaningful leadership enhancing the quality of organisations and ultimately society.
